The Humpty Dumpty Foundation and TLE Port Macquarie have made a difference to Port Macquarie Base Hospital's emergency department with the donation of a video laryngoscope.

A life-saving emergency piece of equipment, the video laryngoscope with MAC 2 blade enhances the ability to intubate children with difficult airways.

It helps children with critical breathing problems, head injuries and trauma to breathe until they can be transferred to an operating theatre or larger metropolitan hospital.

This particular package includes advanced accessories such as a nasal endoscope and a C-MAC 2 blade which enables intubation in even the most extreme circumstances.

"It is with thanks to the generosity of donors like TLE Port Macquarie that the Humpty Dumpty Foundation can help frontline staff and make a real difference to hospitals and healthcare services across Australia," Humpty Dumpty Foundation founder and executive chairman, Paul Francis OAM, said.

"Now more than ever, hospitals and healthcare services need Humpty's help, and it is important we continue our critical work of providing essential medical equipment to metropolitan and regional areas to ease the load on our frontline professionals."

To date, TLE as a company has donated more than $40,000 to the Humpty Dumpty Foundation to support hospitals across Australia.
