Hiring full & part time Paramedics. Staunton Augusta Rescue Squad is located in Staunton Virginia. The organization runs 911 transports. Run area consists in the City of Staunton and surrounding Augusta County. The agency call volume consists of medical and trauma transports. Run about 580 to 600 calls a month.
The agency is very progressive working within the Central Shenandoah EMS regional protocols.
Must be current as a Virginia EMS Paramedic certification, EVOC 2, Valid Virginia Driver’s license with acceptable DMV record and acceptable criminal history background check. Full time must commit to 36 hours a week, (12 hour shifts). Benefits offered for full time (health/dental insurance). Part time must commit to 12 hours/week.
The agency has an orientation and check off process. Have advanced equipment such as the Lifepak 15 monitor that transmits EKG's to the nearest hospital, Zoll ventilators, IV pumps and Macgrath video laryngoscope.
